Kranky Ltd. 1993-2005

From it's founding as a part-time operation in Nov. 1993 to 2005 when I left it as a full-time business with a catalog
of 100 releases and sales over 100,000 units; I co-owned the Kranky record label. I designed and executed all the label's promotional
and marketing plans at the wholesale, retail, press and radio levels.
Using an Apple Macintosh I researched and wrote press releases, artist biographies, sales materials and website text as well
as keeping up a Myspace page. I also designed an iteration of the label website. These CD catalog inserts with pull quotes were sourced from
the press clippings archive I maintained, the label's catalog titles were collated and the text was written in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Catalog design was done in coordination with a freelance graphic designer.
